Elk Point Lodge has been providing outfitting services for over 50 years. Our hunting season is very successful in our area. We hunt in Unit #751, and offer camps in the San Juan National Forest and the Weminuche Wilderness.

Our camps are your base for a great hunting experience, with comfortable, high quality furnishings.

Please keep in mind our hunts are physically demanding at an elevation from 8,000 ft. to 12,000 ft. The rugged terrain of our hunts require a diligent effort from our hunters. Our Guides go where the big ones are. You need to be in good condition.

This is a full service camp. All you need bring is your personal gear and rifle or bow. We provide one guide per two hunters, all meals, all game packing. Our guides are experienced hunters and know the area well. We are confident in their ability to put you on to game.

This is for the hunter who likes to hunt on his own but wants to devote all time to the hunt. We are in camp with you, provide all meals, camp chores etc... We are right there to pack your game out when you bag that trophy bull!

This camp is for the hunter that wants an economical-low cost hunt. We pack you into one of our fully set camps, equipped with wall tents, wood stoves, tables, cots, all cooking gear and outhouse. All you need to bring is your personal gear and food. Camp will be checked on a timely basis to pack out your game.
